Terms
Sick Moves is a music and video player for dancers, made by Eternal AS in Norway. These are the terms for using it. They are short on purpose.
The account
You need an account to press play: an email address and a password, nothing else. You are responsible for keeping the password to yourself. The account is for one person and works on one signed-in device at a time; signing in on another device signs the previous one out. Sharing an account is not allowed.
The free practice days
A new account gets 7 free practice days. A day counts when you press play on it, and the free days end at the latest 14 calendar days after the first one. The free days are per person, not per account: creating more accounts to get more free days is not allowed, and we may close such accounts.
Sick Moves Pro
After the free days, Sick Moves Pro costs 3.99 € a month or 34 € a year, including VAT where it applies. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. You can cancel any time under Files, Account, in the app; the subscription then runs to the end of the period you have paid for and stops. Prices may change for new periods; we tell you by email before a change applies to you.
Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the seller of record for the purchase through its Link service. Stripe's own terms apply to the payment, the receipt and refunds, including your right of withdrawal where the law gives you one. If a payment fails, the app keeps working for a few days while the card is retried, then it goes back to the free state until a payment goes through.
Your files
The songs and videos you open stay on your device and are never uploaded. You are responsible for having the right to use the recordings you open in the app, for example the song from your class or the video your teacher filmed. Sick Moves does not provide music or videos.
What you may not do
Do not resell, rent or share your account or the app; do not try to get around the free days, the device limit or the payment; do not use the app to break the law or someone else's rights; do not attack or overload the service.
What we promise, and what we do not
We do our best to keep Sick Moves working and available, and to keep your account and payment data safe, but we cannot promise that it is available at all times or free of errors, and we may change, add or remove features. The tempo and beat detection is automatic and can be wrong; you can correct it in the app. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last twelve months. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.
Ending it
You can stop using Sick Moves at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to hello@sickmoves.app. We may close an account that breaks these terms. If we ever stop the service, running subscriptions are refunded for the time not used.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date below tells you when. Material changes are announced in the app or by email before they apply. Norwegian law applies, with the courts of Norway, without taking away protection you have as a consumer in your own country.
